Hi-Lift® Jack Company Introduces New and Improved OFF-ROAD BASE

The newly designed Off-Road Base has serrated teeth along one complete side of the Base. These teeth allow the user to scrape at hard dirt or gravel, to make a clear flat spot for the Off-Road Base to sit while being used in the lifting process. A clear flat area gives the Off-Road Base a better “footing” during the lifting process.

The newly designed Off-Road Base also has a hole drilled through the center, which allows the user to attach the Base to the Hi-Lift® jack bar for storage when not in use. Using a 5/16” x 4” bolt and wing-nut (not provided), the Off-Road Base is easily attached to the Hi-Lift® jack for easy access when needed, and convenient storage when not.

MaxTrac's 6.5-Inch Nissan Titan Lift System Affordably Fits 35-Inch Tires

To maintain factory ride quality, the front lift also includes strut spacers. MaxTrac uses laser-cut 1/4-inch-thick plate for these fabricated spacers, which are finished in high-gloss grey metallic powdercoat. They mount on top of the OE coilovers. Extended-length DOT-compliant braided-stainless steel brake hoses are also part of the package.

Rear lift is achieved with 4-inch fabricated steel blocks (which are gloss-grey metallic powdercoated) with proper-length U-bolts. Rear upgrades also include extended-length gas-charged shocks. To correct the driveline angle following the lift, MaxTrac includes a carrier bearing spacer, which is finished in gloss-grey metallic powdercoat. MaxTrac Titan Suspension Lift

MaxTrac estimates installation time at 4-6 hours, depending on the installer's experience. No welding or cutting is required. However, brakes have to be bled after installing the kit's braided-steel hoses. Headlights should be re-aimed at the end of the job.

For Titan owners who want more flexibility, MaxTrac also offers its 6.5-inch kit's components individually. Other Titan options include a 2.5-inch spacer-style front leveling kit, which provides clearance for 285/70-17 tires. Using the 4-inch front spindles alone accommodates up to 33x12.50-17 tires. For Titan owners who want either a nose-high pre-runner look or a raked factory stance, MaxTrac offers 1-inch-lift rear shackles as well as 1-, 2- and 3-inch tapered rear blocks.

Ansani Designs New Composite Jeep Hood Is 1970s-Retro

Ansani Designs products are made in the United States using a three-finished-sides quality-control process that's difficult to reproduce using currently available developing-country technology. The company's hand-laid uni-directional fiberglass technique saves weight -- about a 50 percent reduction -- while still keeping the hood rigid at highway speeds.

Installation is direct-replacement: the existing hinges and hardware are transferred from the OE sheetmetal hood to the Ansani Designs fiberglass model (some drilling is required). Ansani Designs ships its hoods in a primer-ready gelcoat finish so that they can be painted for an exact match to the Jeep. Retail-direct pricing is available.

For more information on this Jeep hood or replacement fiberglass bumpers with light pods for late-model Ford, Toyota, and Chevy/GMC fullsize trucks, contact Ansani Designs, 480-584-6292, This email address is being protected from spambots.
