The Trail PAC - Let's Get our OHV Campgrounds Opened

Dear Trail Voter,

Now that it is likely we will see a short-term budget deal signed into law later today, TPAC believes that it is incumbent upon OHV voters to communicate with their contacts in the land agencies about "going-back-to-work" guidelines from the Office of Personnel Management.

It appears the same outdated mandates from the Anti-Deficiency Act (ADA) that forbids federal staff from any non-emergency intra-agency staff communications or public outreach may hamper the expedited return to work by furloughed employees.

OHV Matures as Political Force

From a national perspective, OHV had just become aware of the need for it to become substantively organized to protect and defend itself from the political agenda of anti-access groups who now had added motorized recreation to their list of human activities that should be either banned or severely restricted.

Although OHV has become more effective in battling closure advocates in the administrative and legal arenas, it still has a long way to go when it comes to becoming a political force in the electoral process.

Anti-access groups have developed an effective strategy to further their goals. They are engaged in both the grassroots/administrative process AND the electoral process.   OHV should be commended for their successful efforts in the administrative process, but they are still in the beginning stage of affecting the outcomes on Election Day.

The Trail PAC was founded to help give OHV a seat at the "political table." We started that effort for the 2012 election and plan to grow our impact for the 2014 midterm cycle to help send pro-trail candidates to Congress.

Please go to the donation link below if you want to make an early contribution for our pro-trail efforts in the upcoming election.

OREGON DUNES NAMED IMPORTANT OHV SITE

TPAC has nationalized this election to empower trail voters in the following states where there are no senate races; AZ, CA, CT, FL, IN, MO, MD, ND, NV, NY, OH, PA, UT, WA, and WI.  TPAC is giving outdoor recreationists in those states a chance to help shape the political landscape in Washington D.C.

TPAC's strategy is to target/support up to 11 key senate races in battleground states such as Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Georgia, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, North Carolina, South Dakota, and West Virginia.

DONATE HERE TO NAME YOUR FAVORITE MOTORIZED ROUTE OR AREA

For a donation of $25 dollars or more, TPAC will list the first name of donor and his/her favorite federal, state, county, or private trail/riding area/racing facility.   The list will be updated each day.

Aussie Trail Voters Elect New Prime Minister

OHV plays important part in Australian election

TPAC was formed in 2011 to give OHV voters a voice in federal elections. Because of your efforts in 2012, a number of pro-trail candidates were elected to the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives where they are working hard to champion policies that support responsible OHV use on public lands.
