Tierra del Sol is a non-profit club that continues to use portions of the proceeds from Desert Safari to fight land closures and to keep trails open. TDS has selected Thundering Trails, http://www.sandiegooffroad.com/thunderingtrails.html, an organization dedicated to creating an off road desert adventure for under-privileged kids who otherwise would never have this opportunity, as the official charity for the 48th Annual Desert Safari.
