New Super Max™ multi-mode sandblasting machines also offer heated cleaning for other applications.
Woburn, MA (PRWEB) August 17, 2009 -- Daimer Industries, Inc.®, a major supplier and worldwide exporter of commercial cleaning products, introduced two industrial pressure washers featuring wet sandblasting systems, the Super Max™ 12500 GE WS and 12500 PE WS. The new tri-mode, fuel-powered power washers can use cold-water for wet sandblasting situations and hot-water or steam for other applications
"These new commercial pressure washers are fuel-powered so they offer not only top performance, but maximum mobility," said Matthew Baratta, Daimer.com spokesman. "The machines are ideal for removing rust, corrosion and the toughest deposits, plus that offer heated cleaning for non-sandblasting applications."
The wet sandblasting features bundled with these power washers consists of a flexible 15-foot sand pickup tube, sand point and a venturi head, which creates a uniform blast pattern and increases the sand's velocity. The wet sandblasting systems can be used with a variety of sand grit sizes and different media, such as baking soda and small plastic pellets.
Because these wet sandblaster systems use high pressure washer, the machines are safer than units employing compressed air, which requires the user to wear special breathing apparatus.
The Power Washers
Both power washers offers pressure levels of up to 3000 psi, a flow rate of up to 5 GPM, hot water temperatures of 180ºF to 210ºF and steam temperatures as high as 330ºF. The units have dual or multi-pressure selection capabilities available as an option. The Super Max™ 12500 GE WS systems are gas pressure washers. The Super Max™ 12500 PE WS is powered by propane, which makes it a good option for many indoor applications requiring maximum portability.
The tri-mode 12500 GE WS and 12500 PE WS are heated with propane. The machines feature long-lasting, heavy duty schedule 80 heating coil for increased durability. Multi-gun operation is available as an option at extra cost.
The mobile pressure washers are on wheels and include: a 50-foot, high-pressure steam hose; a three-foot trigger wand with quick disconnect capabilities; four assorted nozzles; and a powder-coated steel, high gloss, chip/chemical resistant case.
Other Industrial Equipment
Daimer® offers more than 400 assorted models of power washers for customers in industries such as: construction, food manufacturing, auto detailing, food service, automotive, hospitality, industrial manufacturing, metal fabrication, machine shops, and many more. The machines are available in a variety of configurations featuring cold water, steam up to 330°F and pressure levels up to 7000 psi.
Daimer® offers about 30 different wet sandblasting power washers. The equipment is available in configurations featuring pressure levels ranging from 1000 psi to 6500 psi and water flows from 2 GPM to 8 GPM. For power options, some models run on electricity, others run on gas. Some machines offer heated cleaning for situations when the wet sandblasting system in not being used.
The company also offers tri-mode power washers with phosphatizing systems, which can be used to pretreat metal surfaces prior to painting or coating. Daimer®'s Super Max™ AF machines use a downstream injection system that applies cleaning chemicals at low pressure and then rinses with water at a higher pressure. With downstream injection the chemicals contact only the injector, high-pressure hose, trigger gun, wand and nozzle -- all components that are easy to protect against corrosion.
Some machines feature Automatic Shut-Off Technology™ (AST®), a proprietary technology that shuts down electric pressure washers when they're not in use to preserve critical components. When engaged, the technology shuts off the pump and motor after 30 seconds if the gun is not in use and water is not flowing through the machine. When the pressure washer operator pulls the trigger, the motor and pump go on. This feature is particularly useful for situations in which the power washer operator is using a long hose, say, more than 25 feet, and it is not practical for them to go back and forth to the machine to turn it off during each break. The pumps and motors in standard electric power washers stay active whether or not water is flowing through the system, which can shorten the life-span of these components.
For customers seeking low-flow equipment for a mobile car wash or delicate jobs like auto detailing, Daimer® offers hot water pressure washers, such as the .5 GPM Super Max™ 6230SCW and 6120SCW machines. These dedicated steam machines are heated with propane and powered by electricity for use indoors and out.
