On the go power

Genius Boost ProUPS stopped by today with a package.  While it wasn’t a load of fireworks, it was a compact lithium-ion battery charger, not the traditional jump starter booster pack. Filled with connections, it provide portable 12-volts, USB port for mobile devices, a 500 lumen LED flashlight and up to 80 jump starts on a single charge.  The jump charge includes up to 10.0 liter gas or diesel engine.

Okay, that is what the spec sheet says it is capable of doing.  What is fun is I get to test this product and see if it does hold up to that claims.  From initial look, the unit is compact and includes non-spark battery cables.

It does provide USB output along with a 12 volt output.  So, if your mobile device is powered through a 12 volt connection (common dash lighter connection), the adapters will accommodate a connection; for both use and charging.

Charging is through a USB port or a 12 volt connection.

It is recommended bringing the unit to full charge prior to first use.  So, is is working towards its first full charge.

Check back as I will be using this unit and providing comments about Genius Boost Pro in the coming weeks.
