I picked up a set of tires, BFG Long Trail on a set of Rims...took off the truck actually, now that truck is on logs.
Anyhow, I am now looking for flares or something inexpensive to put on now.
Any help on finding some flare material??

I believe that custom flares are no longer made for the Sportage.

A possible solution could be from JC Whitney .
I'm going to try theirs later this year. Will post it when the project is complete. I think Hydra found some that work.
If you find something, start a new post and include pictures.

Flares for the Sporty a real hard thing to find. I went through this process last year. I managed to find one of the last sets from a company in America. They were actually produced in Australia but I do not know which company made these. Here is a couple of piccies of the flairs

I tried to contact a company here in Aus who I thought may have made them http://www.bossproducts.net.au/about%20us.htm but I never recieved any replies to my emails. I was hoping that they may be able to make them or produce a wider set. This is the issue with the flairs they do not cover enough, especially the front ones for those who have gone the wide tyre route 31 x 10.5 and larger. I still have these flairs as I have not fitted them to my Sporty as yet. My direction has changed. I did try contacting all the manufactures I got hits on for Sporty Flairs including the one from England. Every one has stopped producing.

Perhaps my flairs could be used as a moulding to produce new ones, just a thought, if the market is there??

Cheers, Chris.
