Agree with the cost. They are less than 3lb in weight. I have the rear autolocker sitting on my bench but have not had time to fit it.

One other possibility is using a Suzuki 26 spline autolocker, although I am not sure about the sidegear shaft diameter vs. what ours is and how that would affect its operation. May need to make special thrust bearing shims for each end, but in all it is something worth looking into if you have a front diff out at any stage.

Ads, I'll put my hand up for one...

well........damkia... its good you say that as i need to get my hands on a sample autolocker so i can have the metal tested for its hardness...... so if you are willing to help out mate..... as i can get this started in the new year.......also.......i have harrop engineering interested in reasearching there elocker fitment into the sportage diffs........... i can supply them with a couple of "broken " diffs.... in the new year..... dont get me wrong guys and gals....... there has been a shiteload of "yeah there is a locker" and "yes we can do that"
am 100% committed to getting these happening....as i DO NOT want to break anymore diffs.......it will be happening........ as for price on the auto lock-right style lockers....... i cant see them being anymore than 300-350AU$ plus shipping...for the stars and stripe boys and girls , i think that puts it just under the 200$ mark...if that helps.....will be in contact ......cheers Ads
