Need a Spot
All good suggestions, but maybe I wasn't clear about the situation. This happens when I'm not in town, so guns, and dogs and cats that need to be fed, won't work.

And you guys are into serious overkill... these are squirrels--.22 LR works fine. And the neighbors are too busy shooting their own squirrels to complain.

I left D-Con instead of antifreeze but I think what happens there is that they are into nesting mode and don't stop to eat. Or they chew the liner and eat the poison and die and a thousand other squirrels climb over their bodies. Hood liner is good stuff, to a squirrel.

Good suggestions-- thanks. (no post) [Re: 300D50] #1001733 07/01/10 04:04 AM

Most animals like antifreeze...

Jus sayin'

A little milk on top of the antifreeze really makes them drink up .. Sorry had too..

And varmints just party on D-Con dont they ..That stuff never works ..

I hope PETA does not come get me ..

And ..

Dont park the truck where it was move it ... Get a Monty head liner and put on the ground where the truck was .. They like the head liner ..Give the little bast#@!eds what they want...Punt...

I made some tin shields that go around the car at the tires ..All the way around the car..Varmints would not climb the tin..Tin would hurd them into antfreeze oops trap I mean..sorry.. Did 20 of them for one guy 7 for another .. They lived on the only dirt spot on a rock hill .. So the varmints dug in there...

Good luck .. As a guy who has dealt with cars more then most ..Varmints can realy eat up a car and money..And hard to stop ........nicely ........

set a beaver trap on top of the engine. I'l refrain from posting a picture of what it does to a squirrel.

Up near mineral King people have a varmints problem and they use chicken wire. They wrap the car/truck around it. Make sure you make it tight then stake it this will help and most likely keep the little S#@T head out of your rig...

Here is a pic I could find to give you an idea. Hope this helps.
