Do you think the company providing the parts for your locker might be able to convert parts over for a Kia Sorento? I've got the factory limited slip on the Kia 10 bolt axle, 34 spline axles vs your guy's 26 spline (I don't know the diameter...) I've run into a lot of brick walls in trying to research my rear end. One of the best summaries comes from this website, which lists all the Eaton LSD's and provides a little technical data: http://www.drivetrain.com/parts_catalog/positraction/eaton_positraction_limited_slip.htmlCould anyone point me in a direction to continue my research? I don't want to bother you guys with a billion questions.

If your browser will translate Korean to English, you might find the part you're looking for at Masterjeep.com (a company in South Korea). Lockers for the Sorento are listed on the bottom of the pull-down menu. I have emailed this company regarding the rear locker for the Sportage, but never heard a peep from them. So I'm in the process of purchasing the locker installed in a carrier (the only way they said they would sell the part... and I don't feel like fighting with them to get the locker alone) - the sale coming through a middle-man I found on eBay. If you don't mind paying about $894 (+/-) for the locker w/carrier & bearings (including shipping and a fee for the middle-man), then I can provide you with his contact info (the middle-man). However, I'm the first to buy a locker through this guy. So it would probably be advantageous to wait and see if I get rooked...
1997 Sportage 4x4, auto-trans, Warn manual hubs, 4" UPYOURKIA front lift, TJ 106AA rear springs, 2-5/8" body lift, 31x10.50 treads, SmittyBilt SRC front and XRC rear bumper, swing-out tire mount, OBX LSD front diff, Track Finder rear locker, 5.38 R&Ps and... really crappy gas mileage!
