Traded it in on a 2011 Forte. My son gave me his 97 Grand Cherokee so I didn't need another 4x4, and since the Sorento was my daily driver I decided to do my pocketbook a favor and buy something that gets good gas mileage. I was going through about $100 a week in gas at $4/gallon with the Sorento. The Forte is averaging around 33 mpg or about double what the Sorento was getting. I figured instead of paying the oil companies I can pay the bank instead, at least I'll have something to show for my hard earned money down the road. Now that the weather is finally warming up I can also start putting the Sporty back together.
2001 Sportage, TJ 106's, Everet spacers and bumpstops, Bilstein shocks on the rear, cone filter, Crager wheels, 235-75-15 Goodyear tires. Custom front winch bumper by Dave Scott. Currently DOA, but it is a work in progress. 2011 Kia Forte EX

Sorry to hear that the Sorento is gone. However, since you still have the Sportage you are still welcome to stay on the board. Just kidding.
How did you like the Sorento vs. the Sportage. I had one as a rental once, and it did OK. It wasn't a Durango or a Grand, but it did OK.

It was okay, I had highway tires on it ao it wasn't really an offroader. I did manage to get it stuck in a ditch this winter after a snowstorm and had to shovel it out. I figured the Sportage would have easily made it's way out by itself.
