Here are a few pics that my boy took. When I get some of the other pics I will post them here. Here I am coming out of the Wedgie; ![[Linked Image]](http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii29/upyourkia/Moab%202011/IMGP0837.jpg) Not sure where this one was. ![[Linked Image]](http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii29/upyourkia/Moab%202011/IMGP0968.jpg) The Golden Crack. ![[Linked Image]](http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii29/upyourkia/Moab%202011/IMGP0741.jpg) This is as far as I made it before I got tugged out of the crack. ![[Linked Image]](http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii29/upyourkia/Moab%202011/IMGP0743.jpg) Entering a hot tub. ![[Linked Image]](http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii29/upyourkia/Moab%202011/IMGP1033.jpg) Exiting the hot tub. ![[Linked Image]](http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii29/upyourkia/Moab%202011/P4260138.jpg) Thats it for now, hope to get more soon. I can only get sound on the videos my boy took so when I figure out how to get video I will post some on youtube. Dennis

Dennis,
Those are sweet!!! Keep them comming! Can't wait for the pictures.
Ya, it does look like you took a bad line at the crack. You need to be at more of an angle so you only get one wheel off the ground at any give time while transversing the crack.
Looks like you guys came through Spider instead of Gold Bar.

No, we came out Gold Bar Rim. We didn't see anyone running it backwards. I don't have very many pics of gold bar rim because thats where the longer wheel bace of the Kia shined, a few of the ledges I was the only one to make it through 1st try. With the exception of the crack traction was never an issue with my Kia, it was lack of lower gearing and ground clearance. Here are the rigs in our group. Bills Jeep on Hells revenge. Daves Rubicon on Hells Revenge. ![[Linked Image]](http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii29/upyourkia/Moab%202011/IMGP0966.jpg) Jeffs Jeep on Golden Spike. ![[Linked Image]](http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii29/upyourkia/Moab%202011/IMGP0810.jpg) The Sammy on Golden Spike. ![[Linked Image]](http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii29/upyourkia/Moab%202011/IMGP0829.jpg) And the Cherokee on Golden Spike. ![[Linked Image]](http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii29/upyourkia/Moab%202011/IMGP0870.jpg) I'm not sure of the names of the Sammy and Cherokee drivers but the both where very well built. Dennis,
Did the Cherokee really have a Cummins motor in it, or is that just a badge on the side to make you thing it does?
Nice pics. Any videos yet? Sorry, meant to say you started at Spider and came out the bar. My bad.
Yes, the longer wheel base works better on the bar than on Spider. Great way to earn the respect when you can take it first try and others have to make a second attempt.

I didn't get a chance to ask him about the Cummins emblem but he had a Jeep 4.0 and a auto trans. I don't have any vids yet, all the ones my boy took for some reason will only play audio on my computer, no video. I'm still waiting for pics and vids from the others on the trip. I will post good ones when I get them. Here are two of me on the launch pad with 3 springs, I got crossed up entering the launch pad and spit out the right rear spring, I had to get to the top before I could put it back in. ![[Linked Image]](http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii29/upyourkia/Moab%202011/IMGP0855.jpg) It's steeper than it looks, for some reason my boy tried to keep the Kia level, look at the horizon and you can see how steep it was. ![[Linked Image]](http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii29/upyourkia/Moab%202011/IMGP0856.jpg) Dennis

No, it didn't rub but I have extended bump stops from a Jeep TJ. I did gain a lot of respect, the day I arived in Moab I got the tipicle "<img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />what the heck <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />" looks, my last day in Moab I was getting <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />thumbs up <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> just driving down main street. It was a lot of fun <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />.

Awesome pictures for sure Dennis. Good to see you were keeping up with them.
About your vids...sounds like a codec issue maybe?? What do you use to play videos? I use VLC Media Player, Haven't come across a video it won't play....yet.
Hardly wait to see the vids.
