Tonight I was sitting in a drive through for 5+ minutes and the clutch pedal got pretty stiff. It felt like a 60's muscle car with a race clutch <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> It was also hard to get into gear. It didn't grind the gears but it took a little bit of force to get in gear and also when up shifting.
Now after driving for a mile or so it was back to normal. This is not the first time it has happened. I never have a problem if it sits over night so it has to be something going on while it is running. I also don't have a problem in rush hour stop & go traffic.

Check the clutch slave cylinder on the passenger side of the bellhousing. If there's any dampness or indication of brake fluid leak you've found the problem.
