I dont get it. I dont drive hard really, I take good care of the truck, dont drive offroad to much and yet I keep blowing thru front calipers. First set I got 10k out of and then replaced, 2nd set I got 40k out of. Replaced the pass side about a month ago due to one of the pistons locking up and the drivers side one of the pistons locked up and I replaced today.
Seems only one or two of the pistons will lock, and no amount of prying, beating, clamping, spraying or heating will free it.
It cant just be the suppliers, so far have had a delco, a prostop (pepboys), cardone and a beck arnley iirc.

Did you replace the flexible lines during any point of these replacements? One or both could be bad and keeping pressure on yer brakes. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Its possible all those rebuilt calipers come from the same place. I know it costs a lot, but its hard to bead OEM.
You may have moisture in your brake fluid causing bores to rust. I would recommend flushing the fluid a couple times now and then on a regular (like yearly or semi-annual) basis.

The flexible lines have been replaced 2x as well, 2 different parts stores as well.
Fluids ok, by now Ive flushed it all out at least 5x between the calipers and bleeding it a few times to make sure as well.
In every instance I noticed the boots are ripping-not always on the same piston thats locked up either. Maybe I just have bad luck. OEM is nice but COSTLY. I might try and see if I can score some from a yard for an ok price and rebuild them-I know its rather easy.
IDK
