Anyone bought and installed the 5.38s yet? Not yet. I have just purchased a front locker two weeks ago from Kaiser and we are heading to America for a three week holiday in January so funds are a bit low at the moment. Plan is once I come back to order the R&P's along with the adjustable pan hard rod and ship them over together. IM sorry to disappoint - but i dont think that i will have them fitted before january. If it was up to me, i would have fitted a front diff lock, 5/38 ring pinion, 31 inch tires and a 2 inch exhaust system. however - wife does not share my vision.
willing to part exchange wife (nice jewish girl, great condition) for a 1999 and onwards sporty. with 31 inch tires.
(p"s- id go for a lower panhard rod mount instead of a longer panhard rod. I started with a longer panhard rod- and found out very quickly that road holding suffered.it was only when i returned the panhard rod to its original height-by lowering the panhard rod mounting point - that road holding and general safety were greatly improved).
