Body Damage is Cool
I just bought a 98 Wrangler with a hard top but I also wanted a soft top for summer. I just picked up a use soft top with the frame and back bar. The price I payed was good enough for just the frame but the top has 2 small rips in it. What is the best way to fix the rips, I would like to get a little use out of this top so I can put money in a lift ,gears and lockers.

Thanks, Dennis

Take it to a local upholstery shop, they can stitch a patch to the inside of the top, and apply some sealer to the cut. Shouldn't cost too much if you bring the top in off the Jeep.

Thanks, I was thinking about taking to a place that makes boat covers.

Need a Spot
If you can find another top or some similar fabric you can cut a patch and use contact cement to stick it on. We use this to patch our army tents. Never had a leak from a patch.
