picked up 225/75-15 Kumho SAT's.. they were cheaper than the regular AT's and have a pretty good tread pattern.. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?...romCompare1=yesshould be here soon.. and should hopefully motivate me to re-do the rear main really soon.. as this was the last piece of the puzzle!!!
So, i bought an 01 Kia Sportage. before i even drove it, i nick-named it The Goat.. it has been just like a goat.. stubbern at every corner...

Getting the Wheeling Fever
|
Let us know how that main seal project works out. I've been chucking "stop leak" (of various brands) at mine, and when they fail, adding oil as it leaks out.
I've got the Uniroyal Liberators in 215/75/15 on my '98. Not very agressive as an AT, but for the mild "fireroading" I do, they get the job done. Cheap too, as all 4 mounted and balanced were less than $400 at WalMart.
Where in VA are you 4-wheeling?

not wheelin any just yet.. still haven't even got the thing on the road yet because the oil leak is so bad. i already did the rear main once, but i don't think i did it right so i've got to do it again. the one that was in there was actually backed all the way out against the flexplate.

yeah, i have a lot of experience with Tirerack and discounttiredirect. both are great.
i mounted these up last weekend. need to get a picture. they look great on the truck! i just need to fix the oil leak and get it inspected so i can start driving the darn thing!

yer i been reading about your oil leak.I have notice on some of the new oil seals i play with they dont give you a lead in edge on the seal witch mackes a seal hard to get in.Its a piti pulling the box twice but each time you get quicker.
