Took off the solenoid, it has corrosion. But the thing doesn't really come apart, it's stamped together any suggestions? i could grind the stamped dimples. I could also run it through a anti corrosion solvent and move it and shake it a bunch.

Pry out the stamped dimples. Then "stamp" them back after you've heehaw repaired it. Thats how I do it.

Stripping paint sucks, i stripped each section down to all shiny bare steel and then primed one section at a time. Here's the driver rear quarter panel almost stripped down and the driver door stripped and primed.

I might have also changed my mind on the main color as well, i found a dark green i really like.

You might want to leave the top white anyway, if your in a state where theres lots of sun and hot temps. (wink wink)Just a thought.

Got the engine started today! Runs pretty good too, needs some fine tuning but this was the last big thing. I did the hot torque on the head and re sealed the valve cover. I can now start gathering the accessories and installing them so i can get this pig in the Montero.
