I know I am not too active on this board anymore but I still check in from time to time and it just seems the band of East Coast/South East guys has kind of dissipated. Was wondering if anyone was still out there?

We used to have great turn outs for the Uwharrie trips, and even had a couple great Meet N' Greets. Times are rough, I know that all too well. I haven't seen Mark in years, haven't heard from Sparkem since he moved back down to the deep south, I know Angelo moved up to VA and he dropped off the map, don't know if Curtis is still around or got eaten by a bear or something, Reuben hasn't been around in a while, not to mention Chris, Randy, Larry, Doug, Roger, and Jay haven't been around (and I am sure I forgot people to mention, my apologies ahead of time). The FL guys are still on here but I never get a chance to go down that far. Kenny is just about the only Mitsu guy left, Brendan doesn't count since he has gone to the dark side (Isuzu) .

We are over due for another good meet up, to have some fun, share stories, and if the location allows hit some trails. But where did everybody go?

Still around, but I don't check in as often as I'd like.

I never did make it to a Uwharrie gathering, although I had all intentions of coming twice. Life got in the way both times.

Still in Augusta and just got the Monterbo running well again, although Son #2 drives it now. He rather reminds me of a kid with his new puppy. He does love that old truck. He'll take care of it, too.

I had a better idea of what the hell's going on this time, so after an initial set-back (coolant seep from not replacing head bolts), it's all sealed up...i.e. drip free - oil and coolant...and performing nicely.

If you're ever in the neighborhood (and it's not that far, really)...you know what to do.

87 Montero, bought new, by me -
88/89 intercooled Starion Turbo engine-
with awesome audio.

Still here. Was MIA for awhile, busy with work. Have wheeled once since Uwharrie.

Fasteddy's advice is occasionally sound...

Still around Eli! Been out of the scene for a long time now, no wheeling! Haven't been posting as much cause got married last year so now most of my time is focused on house, wife & starting family. But I am starting to get back into the wheeling game, I hope. For awhile I couldn't afford any more breakage so I had to put any wheeling fun on hold.

Like I said, hopefully I get back into it. I'll try & make one of the events this year. What's planned so far? As usual, it's better to sync it with th Isuzu guys. They got their sh!t organized lol. Good to hear you are still around Elu

Congrats on getting married. Speaking of the Isuzu guys the irony of that statement is I organize their Uwharrie trips. A Mitsubishi guy organizing Isuzu event, who would of ever thunk.

Good to see that at least a couple people are still around. Cool pictures Frank of your DD, glad the engine came in handy. Hopefully we will see you back up this way someday.

The next event planned coincides with an Isuzu event, which is the July summer trip (July 20th-22nd). I am out at Uwharrie every month volunteering on the workdays, like next weekend I will be wheeling a Bobcat S175 . So I am always out there if anyone wants to make an impromtu trip.

The Raider hasn't changed much, here is a picture from the Isuzu trip this past month (April):

I hope we can get the Mitsubishi gang together for the summer trip or a later trip (like the Fall one). It got boring being the only Montero out there so I actually ride with other people now more than I drive.
