Please share. I spent 16 hours running my station on 20 meters. made a bunch O contacts. Taught a lot of folks about digital comms, and got to do a bunch of demos.

Field Day is an excellent opportunity to get on the air and make a lot of contacts. Last year (2012) I didn't make a single QSO myself but rather spent the time coaching others for their first HF contacts. It was a blast. I hope everyone with any interest in amateur radio knows that the 2013 Amateur Radio Field Day is coming up next weekend, June 22-23. I'll be splitting my time between two of the local Field Days in the San Francisco Bay Area -- coaching at one during the day and operating through the night at the other. I highly recommend you look up a Field Day near you and give it a shot! I'll look up the link and post it. 73! K6YL
