Im still here. The internet was down for awhile. 3G was in and out and slow when it worked.
No damage at my house. But the area has trees and power lines down. Some flooding. When Issac made landfall it stalled almost all day and just dumped rain and pushed water. All of that rain drains south. A couple days after the storm all of the rivers and creeks were more than full. A lot of roads were closed due to the water going over the bridges. We are on the same power grid as the hospital a mile down the road. We lost power 3 times for a total of maybe 2 hours. There are still people in my area without power. I did get Tues, Wed, and Thurs off of work. A much needed break. We worked Friday and then got a holiday weekend.
My brother, bOURGE, works for St. Tammany Parish. He is part of their Emergency Operation Center essential staff. He was live on the local news station giving a phone interview/update. Pretty cool. No damage or flooding at his house either.
Tag or anyone else, next time you come this way give me a call or shoot me an email. I am 30min from Metairie. If you came down I55 or I12 you passed right by my house. I am about 3 miles away from where they intersect.
I just want to tell you both good luck, and we're all counting on you.

So any pics? Especially Mitsubishi related? Perhaps rescuing others? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
