The general Mitsu populace, at least, is still suffering from the poor economy, non-running cars, distance between folks and no participation from NV folks because the 1 is moving to WA (where there is no forum).
Some of the people that used to post have moved on to other air waves, other forum boards. Then, there are the physical moves brought about by unemployment.
The trail ride to Kyburz feels like a last gasp, and so many moons ago.
Yes, the participation has been poor. Similar inactivity occurs on Ramcharger Central daughter boards. Contiguity has been divided.
Suggestions? Remedies?

Just popping in to say hello! This weekend I shifted into 4 wheel drive for the first time in, well, forever and it feels friggin' awesome! Many truck issues in combination with a new hobby (ham radio) had kept me away from wheeling for a while, but I still check the forums on occasion. It feels good to finally have a running, smogged and registered vehicle again.
Anyway, I'll continue to watch the forums, whether it be the Cal-Nev forum or other.
Take care my 'ole friends!

Hello, nice to hear from you. Hang around for awhile... Glad to hear your 4x is back in operation.
My jeep hasn't moved in 6 months. Did get it started on Saturday.
Different metrics I follow indicate a lot of volatility in forum use. And, regionally there are challenges that keep people off the trails. Basically, it comes down to money. When people are worried about their next paycheck, they are not inclined to spend extra out of there current paycheck.
That lack of spending means fewer weekends on the trail and fewer mods.
Price of gas hasn't helped either....

Cal-Nev Crew Forum died 5-30-12 We wanted it,we got it we ,don't use it RIP You gotta have the bread before you can spread the butter. Trail season is coming up soon for us fair weather folks here in northern California. In fact I'm taking an offroad safety class this month to get ready. Geez, I just notice who started this post. It's been what Russell 5 years or so since you've been wheeling with your Gen 2.5 mall crawler? Just asking. Look what the cat brought in. Surrender to the Az crew, we already claim New Mexico as Eastern Az. Might be a hostile takeover of Colorado in the future as well but who knows might not have enough time for that.

How much better would that be? All you guy's do is beat your gums, work on your trucks and very little wheeling. Same as we do here, but a hold lot less gum beating.

Surrender to the Az crew... Yeah, what Mike said plus that's not gonna make it any easier on those worried about cost of gas. Joanna, nice to see you're back.

Yeah, not a lot of wheeling in the summer here. There have been a few night trips, good wheeling season starts in October.
