That was my plan... and to avoid hitting my fenders I was going to move the axle forward a couple of inches. What is the distance between centers of the spring perch mounts on a Dana 60 and a Chevy 14 bolt?

Sure you cant use a D44? Id think its more than enough for a T100. Wagoneer D44 I believe has proper side drop for T100 and alot more options for ratios can be had including your 5.13 and 4.88. Should hold 37s ok. its also the right width, dang near 62" i recall.

Ya the Dana 44 will be more than enough for 37's but I will run bigger tires at some point and I don't want to have to swap axles then. It will be easier to just go with a Dana 60 to start with. They make 5.13's for both the Dana 60 and the Chevy 14 bolt.

Dang, bigger than 37s? I cant wait to see what it looks like with 37s let alone larger tires.

Realized I have another problem. A HP Dana60's diff is on the drivers side not the passengers. I don't really want to do any cutting and welding on an axle to make it work but that might be the best option. I have looked at using an FJ80 axle but I have found that it is rather hard to get the steering to work. A Dana44 would fit the best but I fear it wont be strong enough for 40+in tires. My question is do they make a large axle like a Dana60 with the diff on the passenger side?

You may get some responses here, but for full width axles, pirate4x4.com is your best site.
That thing will be badass.

I came up with a crazy idea but I have no idea if it is even plausible. If I were to run a Dana60 with a drives side drop could I rotate my transfer case to the other side of my transmission? I have the feeling it can't be done because the out put from the transfer case would be spinning the wrong way. Any thoughts?

There are lubrication issues.
However, you should call marlin crawler or inchworn, as they do make left side drop t-cases...

I have done more research and I think I am either gonna go with a Dana 44 or bite the bullet and buy a passenger side drop Dana 60.
