Looking to lube all the points on my SR. First timer. What kind of grease, brand, model, whatever, do you use or recommend?

Thanks!

I use any brand of MolyEP grease. I've been told it's not ideal for everything, but I use it for everything just the same. I've never had a problem.

I also put Moly [Molybdenum Disulfide (anti-seize)] on every blot and nut on re-assembly. I do adjust the torque as torque values are typically based on dry threads.

I use Moly on lots of stuff too. Being from the rust belt, aka "land of heavy winter salt" we used Never Seize products on all of our bolts - BUT we also put it in a different container and cut/thinned it with ATF. The result was a paintable coating that went on easily and wasnt nearly as prone to the messy gobs.

We used the never seize with nickel (for dissimilar metals) on our bolts, and the copper based stuff on our electrical connections - especially battery terminals and grounds.

Using the ATF sounds like a good idea. The mix would have to be stirred well during use. Moly does not suspend well.

we don't use much atf - just enough to make it easy to apply neatl with a glue brush. but, yeah, we do stir it a little every time.
