I am still here, I have had a 2009 Sorento, which I purchased new, until about two weeks ago when I replaced it with a 2014 Sportage EX AWD. I have owned a 1996, 1998, and 2001 Sportages.

Everet is still haunting the forum. Dennis Thompson sold his Sporty, but still lurks, with an occasional post. I suspect I'm newer to the boards in relation to you, with only a few years (2 or 3) of demonstrating "what not to do to your Sporty" under my belt...
1997 Sportage 4x4, auto-trans, Warn manual hubs, 4" UPYOURKIA front lift, TJ 106AA rear springs, 2-5/8" body lift, 31x10.50 treads, SmittyBilt SRC front and XRC rear bumper, swing-out tire mount, OBX LSD front diff, Track Finder rear locker, 5.38 R&Ps and... really crappy gas mileage!

I still stop by a few times a month see wants happening in the Kia world, my TJ is still pretty much still stock and I've been collecting parts for the buildup. I have just about everything and should have it put together by the end of the month.

I check out new posts every so often, but I ended up finally getting rid of my rusted-out Sporty after 13 years and bought a new JK Wrangler. Dark Side, I know, but what are you going to do? Kia only makes mall-crawlers now.
01 Convertible; Electric Fan; 3" Up Your Kia lift spacers; Tj 104's; 31x10.5x15's on Centerlines; Rear LSD. GONE, all I have left are a few spare parts and the wheels.

Posted a link to pictures of mods on my 01 Sporty, kinda tame to Everets and Dennis's though.
