Learned something that I don't hear to much about. Everyone knows you use oil to lubricate your drill bit when drilling metal to keep the bit cool, or the saw blade when cutting metal. Had an old machinist show me using get this; glass cleaner! It dries with no muss, not leaving the big wet mess. I like how it doesn't make a the shavings stick together. Give it a shot on your next fabrication job. Lot cheaper too!

Another OG trick i learned from an old timer is using silicone RTV for drilling sheetmetal inside your car. The silicone lubes the bit and the RTV collects the shavings, actually works pretty well.
