Guys, I feel almost like I'm going to be getting rid of one of my children, but I need to get rid of my '92. She's got nearly new 33" BFGs, fairly new KYB shocks. Some decent rocker protection, few other goodies. It was running rough the last time I drove it. I went to start it the next day, and got nothing from the starting. Been sitting in the driveway a year now. I'm not going to have the time or the money for years, and I hate seeing it go to waste. Anyone interested in this old girl? I'd sure feel better if a Mitsu guy got it. I can help with delivery if you're not local. I know this is tech, and if this is not allowed, let me know and I'll put something up in the For Sale. Just didn't know how many guys actually look in there. I know I always read the Tech, and the Off Topic, but don't frequent the other areas. Oh, she's a 5 speed, no body trim. I brought her back from Germany, and I'm the second owner. Bought her when she had about 15k miles. She's got 180k on her now. I love this truck.

Sad to hear it buddy. You know it's something simple, too!
Good luck!

Buddy, I know exactly how you feel, and I'm still on the fence about selling, a month after it's gone. Good luck with the sale. I don't see any reason not to leave it here, for a long-time contributor - maybe put up a post in forsale too, and link to it here, just in case it garners a bidding war!
Cheers Phil

When you way you got no joy on the second start attempt, do you mean it turned over, but would not crank, or just would not turn over at all? I may be interested.

I'd be interested in taking a crack at it, but cost and distance would be huge factors.

Nothing happened. My guess is maybe the one starter wire is loose. That has happened before. I forgot to mention that it has about 200 miles (at most) on a new clutch. I used all Mitsu parts, and had a reputable shop do the work. That cost me over a grand. I'd like to get 1500 out of it, but if it was going to a loving home, I might come down. I have two bouncy seats, and lots of spare parts here as well. Including another transmission. I think it needs some bearing replaced. You can see the bearing is messed up on the front of the unit.

I hate to do it. But she's going to waste just sitting there. With the divorce, it may be years before I could give her the time and money she needs. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
