times are tight and vehicle is only a daily driver anymore, so I'm thinking of a cheapo from 1 800 radiator.
Rockauto has 2 brands of all metal, but nearly $300 isnot in the budget.

I think having the original rebuilt is best if possible.

Need a Spot
I just had to replace my radiator. The original was restricted pretty bad. Would begin to get warmer if I was goin any less than 35mph.

I got a Murray (plastic/aluminum) from the local o'reillys. Has been working awesome for the past couple weeks. Temps right on the mark.

One thing to note however, is that the mounting holes didnt line up perfectly. I had to drill new ones to get the radiator to sit level. Otherwise working perfect.

How would I describe myself? Three words: Hard-working, alpha male, jackhammer. Merciless...insatiable...

My radiator had a head gasket failure "Bloat" it. I keep resoldering one seam.
Local rad. shop folded up. I'm thinking that if this radiator was stressd in that seem on the tank, then otherhidden streses might show up afer I spend $ to have someone who realy knows how to solder fix it.

Dave, if it's just a daily driver these days, get this:

It'll work. Check out the cheapest one on the list.
