Only asking this stupid question because I live in an apartment complex and I need to know what I am getting into so I can expect how much of the exhaust I need to take apart (and how much extra dealer hardware - nuts, bolts, gaskets) I need to order.

Question of the day: Is there enough room to get the passenger side exhaust manifold off (with studs still on the engine) or do I need to drop the Y pipe as well?

I vaguely remember removing the passenger side exhaust manifold on my 3.5l SR I had a while back to get to the freeze plug inderneath it and I don't remember dropping the entire y Pipe.

Any insight you guys can give would be much appreciated so I know what to expect. This is on my 1999 3.5l SOHC engine.

With the center crossover pipe disconnected, it allows enough room to wiggle the manifold out past all the studs. I cannot wait for this to be done. Notice the full Crack all around the manifold.
