So its been many years since I've posted on here, but I wanted to re-activate my account and update my profile. My son is 5 yrs old now and we are planning our first Montero trip and camping experience since I've been back from overseas. Just wanted to say hi to everyone on the board who may remember me. Been a lot going on from a family perspective, recently divorced now and all. Spring break 2016 should be a lot of fun just the boy and me around a camp fire.

I never did 'move' to Australia like I was considering; it is a long story involving some serious family issues and a divorce. It all worked out for the best in my opinion, I'll spare you the details. But yes, I did visit Brisbane for about a month in 2013 and have been in Phoenix ever since. Just haven't been active on here or with the Montero until recently Thanks for the welcome. Getting the camping gear back together again, most of it was pretty much intact. The worst was batteries that leaked all over the place having expired in 2014. BTW, for anyone interested in AGM batteries, I recently discovered an upgrade to the Lifeline AGM GPL-31T that is exactly the same dimensions and configuration. So, since mine needs replacing, I am upgrading to the Lifeline GPL-31XT which provides 125 amp hours of capacity. I'm fairly confident no battery of the same size has more capacity. Be careful when lifting it though, its 74 lbs! GPL-31XT

Hi Scottie. Sorry to hear about the divorce. You picked up a front bumper from me in MD right? I was in Oz (Alice Springs) from 2009-13. Moved to San Antonio afterwards. Not doing any 4x4 these days.

This is terrible.
He was one of our adopted children when he was stationed at Fort Gordon here. Came over a pretty good bit.
Seriously a fine guy and we are less without him.
