So i made this bar to correct PA_JERO's and Lloyd's rear track after they installed a lift in the rear (plus on our last trip they both bent their stock ones). These bars are indestructable, rebuildable and offer 2.5" of adjustment. Going to make a run of them, any takers? They will be $275 each shipped!. They will fix the rear track with lift as well as be extra durable for offroad use.

Would these be for a Gen 1? (specifically a 2 inch lifted 87 raider)

Thanks Toasty! I run leafs on everything I lift/wheel, but I'll let the Sport group know. There's a few that might find this useful.

What are you running for tubing & ends?

Edward

Those look like Johnny Joints. So these will fit stock as well I suppose?

Thanks, Edward!

marksroberts61, Yes minimum adjustment is stock.

The rod ends are chromoly and kind of an oddball size to fit the Montero, the guy making these for me is pretty sharp. Unlike the other big joints these are radiused from the threads to the joint making them more resistant to breaking.

The rod itself is not tube, it's solid 7075 T6 aluminum like they use to use for airplane landing gear and parts. It is super springy so when you smash it on a rock or back into a stump the bar flexes then springs back into place.

IncorporatedX and I have been tooling up, designing parts, testing things and figuring out what bits are being discontinued or superceded with inferior parts. We have a lot of neat stuff coming so stay tuned and buy up! Our parts will come out in small batches so they may not be available while we build the next run of parts. Keep us going and we will keep supporting the Mitsu community!

Cool, thanks Toasty! I am considering using one of my parts hulks to work up a 4-link rear suspension, would you use that same rod, or go with heavy wall DOM steel tube?

Body Damage is Cool
Will this work with the upper shock mount raised like you did?

If you need a panhard rod with your 4 link these are much stronger than .5 wall DOM. Also, feel free to pm me about 4 link stuff, i know some things that could help.
