Time for a new exhaust system! FYI: I replaced the oem manifolds with the Aussie headers....years ago....to not much if any performance improvement....
I need to replace everything past the headers.... and told the muffler shop I wanted more vroom!...truck exhaust note.

His only suggestion is to run straight pipe, without any muffler. I would have no problem with emission test being its so old and where I'm located....but my question is: does running no muffler change the back pressure and would that cause O2 sensor issues and/or idle or gas mileage problems???

What do the Sages say???

This sage says to use a Dynaflow, MagnaFlow, or equivalent.

Time and again the proponents of no-muffler lose to science. Need the muffler. I have a Montero V6 with a single 24" glasspack and it sounds pretty throaty.

Hey RX Thanks for that info. Did you cut your Cat out of the system to get your throaty sound??
I'm thinking of using 2 in and 3 out with Flowmaster Super 40
