How do I find a power steering pump bracket to replace my broken one?

(Backstory: The bracket was broken when I got the truck; I don't know why or how. The engine has been rebuilt and about to go back in. I should have dealt with this earlier.)

Also, I would like advice about what really needs to be replaced _now_, before/as the rebuilt engine goes in. Is that supposed to be a separate post, or rolled into this one....

The engine was rebuilt? With or without balance shafts? If there are no balance shafts, failure of the PS bracket is common

carpart.com to search wrecking yards, or go to DIY wrecking yards.

Can you take the original bracket to a welding shop to get it fixed?

It had no balance shafts when it arrived at the machine shop, and that's how it was rebuilt this time too. Dare I ask: Why does that produce PS pump bracket failures?

(I have a replacement on the way.)

Secondary harmonics...the entire purpose of the balance shafts, aka anti-vibration or vibration control.
