Hey All,

I am trying to figure out if the 99 Hyundai Galloper Exceed is identical to the Pajero and/or Montero in terms of spare parts. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Similar, but different. Hyundai built the Galloper based on licensing arrangement with Mitsubishi.

That is a good question, the bodys are fairly identicle other than lights, door lines, etc.. I always wondered if the interiors would swap over.

Body Damage is Cool
Gallopers have always been GEN I based. Even the ones with the rounder bodies.

Interiors are identical. Even the later models with the rounder and softer dashboards used the same mounting points.

Do remember that the Galloper was made to be a relatively affordable vehicle. There are some signs of cost cutting (plastic parts in place of metal ones, paint instead of chrome, etc.).

I can confirm you that everything but front brakes and body is identical to Gen I Pajero/Montero.

Need a Spot
I know this is an old thread, but I am trying to find out what a 1996 Galloper 3 door is compatible with what is sold in The States. I'm looking for a Driver's window switch, a radiator, and a light switch on the steering column. Trying to find compatible parts in the U.S. which I can bring down to Costa Rica to fix my toy.

Could also hit up the parts guys with Mohenic Garages. They're restomodding the Galloper these days and getting coin. Located in South Korea and Los Angeles.
