Tracked down a Y pipe for my 1989 from a 1990 3.0 v6 Automatic in CA........also needed EGR pipe but curiously this drivers side exhaust manifold didn't have the EGR pipe Flange to the Plenum.

Photo 1 is the No EGR manifold from the 1990
Photo 2 Is what should look like for 1989 or 1990 v6
Photo 3 is the model it was pulled from

I've never seen any mention of another Gen I 3.0 v6 version without EGR on the manifold in my manuals or the Raider parts catalog 4x4 pdf

Anybody seen mention of this? Was this a CA Emissions specific version??

1990 did not have the egr pipe.

I'm also not too far from Chico, if you're shopping for something from that particular yard.

Ugh! Wish I had know that ..................

That 1990 Y pipe (from the exhaust manifolds to the cat) should be the same to fit my 1989 correct?

So to clarify...the 1989 v6 is the only model year that had the EGR Tube connected from the drivers side exhaust manifold to the Plenum??

That EGR Tube/valve is the only part I'm missing for my back to OEM exhaust rebuild....Ugh!

yes. 89 was the only year the egr tube was present on the 3.0.

And I have that, but so many other things to do before I could pull the part.
