The Montero Sport is a 4dr SUV. It was first introduced in 1997 in North America.

Could you have a Montero? It arrived in North America in 1983.
Some folks refer to a SWB (Short Wheel Base / 2DR) Montero as a Montero Sport.

www.car-part.com has a number of rear axle assemblies for the 1994 Montero. If that is the year, make and model you need.

I have been intrigued by this as well. While the sports were introduced in 1997 as you note above, my 89 LWB often shows up as a "sport" or "SP" when I provide the VIN to insurance or other online venues.

The Sport model line, in separate designation, is as discussed. The "Sport" trim level is used by many brands, like my son's 1989 Power Ram 50 "Sport" has the cloth 60/40 bench and two-tone paint. Perhaps the 1994 Montero had a "Sport" trim level?
