I want to install ball joint spacers, which requires a ball joint flip aswell. Obviously this will cause the tie-rod to be in a different position between the upper and lower ball joints. I am wondering if anyone has installed spacers or has a dont a ball joint flip then experienced any bump steer? I have yet to get under there and take measurements of the stock geometry, but nothing beats someones experience. Hopefully someone can tell me if this project will cause more bump steer than is worth the job, or maybe a way to correct bump steer im these cars.

Lots of discussion in the past. Might try a search here, or a combination of "4x4wire" and "ball joint flip" using Google.

With this mod the upper ball joint and inner pivot retains it's relationship to the Lower joint, the lower arm pivot as well as tie rod will not change with just a ball joint flip and or spacers used between arm and joint If the camber at ride height is set back to what it was prior to the upper arm mod. With the change of rideheight you may need to reset your toein.
What changes is the range of travel available, particularly in droop. During this area of motion the toe settings will vary more than original.
On many vehicles which the factory never hit an optimum toe curve with the original design, you will find a difference of toe when measured a short distance up or down from ride height. Most of the time this is not noticed after the changes of tire size and other aspects of related modification.

Oh shoot you're totally right. The distance between the ball joints never change with spacers, so the geometry never changes. Not sure why i never thought of that. Thanks.
Edit: but they will change is the uca pivot location, once i add spacers to adjust for camber. That would technically mess with steering geometry but since i cant find anybody talking about it, its probably nothing to worry about.
