I'll ask my employee, and stress to him who's boss, on Wednesday. Don't hold your breath, as I haven't heard anything. Rock on.

RD, we are meeting at the I-17 exit for the Carefree Highway north of Phoenix. Allow one hour to get from your place to there. Then, I imagine, we'll move as a group west to Lake Pleasant, then north to pavement's end at the north end of the lake where we can air down. If Eric D is along, he can share his algorithmic calculations for correct adjustment, provided there's no bird poop on your hood to throw things off. Then, it's a several hour journey through moderate terrain, gaining altitude until we pop out in the bark-beetle infested forest around Crown King, an old mining town turned tourist town, where ATVs almost outnumber trucks (all the locals drive one as primary in-town transportation). There are a couple of places to get good burgers there; just remember to keep your hands and feet away from Auto-Mon's mouth. Then, it's either back down a dirt road east to I-17, or a continuation of journeys north through the woods on a relatively easy trail called the Senator Highway that comes out in Prescott. We can decide on that later. Meet-up time has been set by Monte3 at 7 a.m. The Apache Junction crew will have to leave their hidey holes at around 2 a.m. to be on time. This is always a fun run, and if you fall asleep at the wheel, your truck will plunge 100+ feet into a ravine where your bones will be picked clean by desert creatures, each taking turns in their roles as scavengers in the cycle of life. Oh, the truck may explode from impact, too. Other than that, pretty tame stuff. It will put LT to sleep, but he's not driving. Bring cameras, there's one spot that usually gives a little trouble, that is to say, unless you have a Monty.

I like the dog in picture #2 christening the new back yard. If his name is "duke" I think I will die laughing.

RD, if you're close to the 101 to begin with, you can either go north, then west on it to I-17 north, OR, go south on the 101 to the 202 west through the tunnel, then hit I-17 north from there. I vote for the former.

What is Monte3 trying to tell us? Bring your bacon? Bring your pig? Bring your hog? How about I bring my wallet? But it's calfskin, I think. Since I've been off-road with every one of you but Monte3, I feel pretty good about this. Paul is the unknown factor. Remember, I have the sole 4-cylinder truck, and it is really slow, so don't ditch me, or is that the idea?

Will we have EricD (well, I mean Jill, but hey)? How about PoopTroop? And who from the Attack-Me Junkyard, I mean Apache Junction crew will be along? And will Adam be bringing chicks? It might be nice to keep this from being a total sausage-fest.

Dave, we STILL can't tell if Adam can make the water from the roof! Please include detailed diagrams with height of roof, distance to water, and water depth at impact point. And be prepared to send the wife and kids out for miniature golf and pizza, 'cause when we hit your neighborhood...it's party time! Heh heh, just kidding, not really. And I'm no pool expert, but won't those big pipes be kind of obstrutcionist? I ain't never seen no pool like that before. I liked it when it wuz just dirt better. And I think the dog's name should be Link. Or Dookie.

The name of the dog is Cloe. Sorry to disappoint. She's not actually our dog were just dog-sitting for some friends who are enjoying the San Diego summer for a week. I think it would be possible to hit the pool if one were to jump from the top of the porch deck. Its about 15 feet by my estimate. I'd say 50-50 chance. Of course, if you don't make it you're either dead or crippled. Max pool depth is 5' in the center.

Don't worry, the wife and kids will be long gone before any of you show up. Also, I told the neighbors that I volunteer at a home for the severely mentally disturbed and that I would be having some of the patients over for group therapy soon. They'll know as soon as some of you pull up to the house.

All those pipes in the pool are for cleaning heads and they'll get cut down to size next week.

RD, from your place, I would definitely take the 101 to I-17.
