He thought about it before he got under there. He has 2 wheels against the curb so it won't slide sideways and he has a ROCK chocking the back wheel! Necessity is the mother of invention. But chit! I think I would dig a hole and shove the truck over it before I would go under that setup. BJ

What's really cool is it seems he's welding on the gas tank!

Pete What part does that patatoe digger on the front of them Jeeps play? I'm try'n and cannot see what good it could do. That yellow one looks like it has been rode hard and put up wet. The roll cage is bent and the front shackle is too. Bj

BJ ill be honest with you about the build up im learning how to weld and got my 1st last year so this is practice/learning for me all the stuff im doing is trying to learn and supervised at the same time ... although most dont agree with what im doing its a start for me and mistakes are easily corrected << because its so ugly it can all be taken off

You askin' me? A fella in the club has a exo cage with a bow sprit like that and I've pondered it's purpose and decided the only thing it might be usefull for are to help one slide up on a rock or other vertical obstacle that's higher the front bumper (But that wouldn't work with those rigs 'cause of them shackles, you'd need a shackle reversal). The other thing it might do is, if you started to go end over end head first, it would cause the jeep to flip sideways and roll instead. I guess the short answer is I don't know. I'm sure some hardcore rockhound can straighten us out tho...

correcto jp its helps with those 2 you mentioned and 2 more it will protect the rad during a roll over and gives a good piont to have a strap to when going up some really off camber stuff so as to have people give ya that extra pull if needed to keep you from rocking one way or the other...as for the shakles they came on the heep soon to be tossed out....this heep is going through a build up and i am just adding things as i can...

I'm sorry Pete I had my head under my wing.. It was not meant for you. Anyway whatever that taterdigger is for it is gonna tear hell out of the grill/hood if it is ever used. It neds to be tied back into the roll cage. the way it is fabbed will at the minimum close the hood for ever the first time it gets a hit.
