I thought that TF stood for TRACK FINDER... I'll try to call number in Brazil anyways.

Thanks! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Just call them... They said that in Korea, their entity is also GKN Driveline Korea and they are not aware if they have any relationship with TrackFinder.
And sadly, they do not sale drivetrains in Brazil...

And our friend 3LC, where's he?

I have been doing some digging.

This website sells the TF-lockers online.

http://www.4wheelparts.co.kr/

I tried the Alta Vista Translation page. It did not work well. They sell a lot of american products. Not sure if they could sell to US or not. Still trying to find out.

I was hoping it was connected to www.4wheelparts.com but it is not.

APB for 3 legs...

Sorry guys.
I was too late for news. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/pfft.gif" alt="" />

NOW YOU CAN ORDER "SR", "SF" AND "5.38 R&P".

I called to Manager Lee last Friday.

We discussed that which way will be the best and safe for you.

What he recommanded is....
1. Order "SR" locker first for rear diff.
("SR" will be good for over 95% of Sportage rear diff.)
- you can test for front diff with it. Then you will see which one will be good.
- If it doesn't fit for front diff, you can order "SF" later.

2. You can order 5.38 ratio R&P gear. But one thing you need to keep in mind is that it is weaker than genuine part. As you guess, in order to make more threads for higher ratio, each thread becomes thiner than original one.

But what he is worring about is that Kia Sportage diff is not assembled consistently-would be some gap. So when he installed Lockers in Korea, he could handle the situation, but it is not doable when he exports them abroad.
So buyer could suspect the quality of the product.

However he will prepare extra parts to be used for the situations.

Also they updated English pages. Now you can see updated application note, user guide and installation guide.

TF Locker Updated Documents.

I will accept your order for a week.
Please send me a private message or email.
Once I gather the orders, I'll send the order to TF.
Probably I'll ask TF to ship over sea. I think it will reduce shipment fee and take about 3-5 weeks to be delivered to my place.

Once I get them, I'll post a message.

As he recommended, order "SR" first. If you are really sure your front diff is good for "SF" you can order it, too.

When I get the orders, I'll negotiate the price.

TF is working for accepting order from abroad directly. But the preparation will take some time.

Thanks.

Three Legs Crow.

P.S: CBP, if you want me to take your order, you can do it. Definately I can handle orders for U.S.A and Canada. But I am not sure which way will be more economic for you.

I can't believe those jerks at Kia can't tell us what the pinion shaft diameter is! I want to just order front and rear lockers but I can't because of the stupid size being unknown! I am literally angry with rage! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/angry.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/angry.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/angry.gif" alt="" />

I don't think the "SR"s will work for '95-'97 Sportages (at least the American ones), because those years have 26-spline year axles and the "SR" model has 28. Incompatible.
