dan if you want a lsd the easy thing to do would be get a v6 front axle.then get the lsd for that then there is no shim needed.

That pipe doesn't hold back any real pressure does it? What about some of that exhaust pipe repair tape stuff? At least for a while while you track down a cheap one.

yes it is easyer than it sounds.i think it is the 88 and 89 starion lsd bolts right in no shim and is the set up most peaple are running.plus it is a stronger axle than our 4 banger
set up.to put the lsd in you will have to drop the diff so it will already be out for putting somthing in that is stronger.

Boy....
Did we drift off topic or what ! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" />

But in any case....
Dan....
YES the 88-89 LSD's use a thicker Axels and the splines are also bigger. This changes on the Pre-87 models LSD's.

As for were I hang out well here are a few sites BUT all the same guys are on all of them.

SuperRam50...
What is the price for the 3:90's you have ? I can get those locally but if I can save me the trouble of pulling out a set at the yard I will <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

But anyhow....
YES I am still looking for the 8" 4:22's <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
