keep your receipt and you should have a automatic 90 day warranty. most parts stores like them are like that now. I was debating doing a CO2 setup myself, but this is much better. They say china is the next super power. they started off making junk, and we haven't been taking them serious lately but they've been making some good stuff. GM's been having China make a lot of their stuff. for $50 i think it's pretty good. I'm gonna buy one.

Guess the only other question is will it last?

Yeah, maybe we can talk ZUK into doing an endurance torture test for us. Just run the 2 side-by-side 24 hours a day until one fails. ZUK you could write off the $300 as R&D, hehe.

That looks similar to a unit I picked up in South Africa three years ago, though this one is painted red instead of olive green. It was surprisingly good for such a small 12v electric compressor. It's far better than the various cheapo plastic "250psi" cigarette-lighter-powered compressors from Walmart.

The only other question I had you guys didn't talk about was if the duty cycles were comparable, and from the quick search I did, they are.
Great find!

Looks like that $40 plastic "Truck Air" compressor I've always carried as a backup (15+ minutes per tire) has found a replacement.

The tsunami looks the same one that Kragen was selling as the supoerflow mv50. A couple friend and I have the MV50. It filled my 4-33x12.50 AT's from 5-35 psi in under 40 minutes. My friends were able to fill their 37's and 38's to about 25 psi in the same amount of time. In all three cases just the comp's were used. I have since hooked mine up to a 4 gallon tank, but have't aired down to see if it works any better.

The little comp also works great as an ARB air source. I fab'd up a small tank(4x6) and one of the comp's for a buddy's ARB's, the comp will fill the tank and airlines(to the ARB solinoids) in 12 seconds. The only thing with them is that they get hot, hot enough to burn your fingers, so wouldn't want to mount them in a confined space. I have mine in well ventiulated box with a small cooling fan. I am not sure how long one will last, but at the price you could buy two, and carry one as a spare.

More than tread lightly. Leave it like you were never there, nor anyone else.

Holy smokes! After Staceman went to Checkers and purchased one of their MV50 compressors.....and to find out it is the exact same thing as the 50 dollar Pepboy version.....except that the Checkers one is only $24.99! I bought 4 of them. Good luck finding them.....they seem to be "hard to stock".
