Saw an increase in traffic from here so I figured I'd stop by. I've got plenty of bandwidth for the rest of the month so have at it, guys.

As a mechanic, I'm always browsing the web for helpful technical info; so I'll share this one with ya'll too. Just click on the ARRC auto repair reference center link; they have online manuals for about anything with wheels. http://www.bedlib.org/ebsco.html I've used this great link before, but now it seems to be password protected. Is it like that for everyone?

It's NOT. Read the text there. You're like a couple other peeps who've asked me; you're trying to access it thru a firewall. Follow de-structions.

Ive READ the text there, and I don't think that's it. I'm WELL aware of the difference between a proxy/firewall authentication login screen and an application login screen.
Many of the other library links returned when you Google "ebscohost arrc" are asking for library card numbers, ID/PW, also. Its a subscription service that libraries provide to patrons, it ain't free.
I'm assuming somebody at these libraries or ebsco didn't appreciate the bandwidth usage, and shut it down. Also, I don't have access to our firewall exception list...as I hope not just anybody has access to theirs either.
[color:"red"]EDIT [/color] I just checked from home, and same thing. DB login prompt. Can anyone else verify this link anymore...just to let me know I ain't crazy????
