I didn't know that Toyota was even thinking about a new SUV! This one may replace the 4Runner or Highlander, but if you keep reading, I think it's really a renamed Sequoia.

Two quotes from the article:
"an awe-inspiring stance that exudes both magnificence and grandeur."
"urban masterpiece. "

City car is right. Why doesn't Toyota just make a decent station wagon? The Fortuner sounds like an unnecessary vehicle. The way they describe it makes it sound like some sort of psychotherapy for the well heeled urbanite.

That .com.ph... that means Toyota of the Philippines.

VERY likely that thing will never see US soil, nor was ever designed to.

Can't be any worst then what they did to the Rav-4. You know Toyota is claiming that the 2006 Rav-4 will be their fastest vehicle. Either they have really done a number to the Rav-4 or Toyota really need a sport car.

only good about it is that it is new and better technology and fast... but I like my 1992 4runner better... I think my 4runner will beat it on the trial...

I just saw one of those Fortuners the other day here in Qatar. It is nowhere near the size of the Sequoia. Its pretty close to the Prado actually. If you guys want Ill snap some pics out here. Im currently driving around a 2wd 4dr hilux pickup. Pretty cool actually.
