Completed my first throttle body cleaning this weekend. 65,000 mile marker. Followed directions above and the proceedure went smooth. Thank the posters. Quicker response now and has a definate smoother feel to the throttle.

Just did this today to my 196K mile 2002. On mine the gasket was stuck to the intake instead of he throttle body. I stuck a rag into the intake manifold to keep bits of gasket from finding their way in. Don't need that sucked into the cylinders. I haven driven it yet but just revving the throttle it felt smoother.
