We want to let everyone know about a change we are implementing regarding our Toyota, Mitsubishi, and Kia offtopic forums.

Only registered and logged-in readers will be able to see these forums, and as usual only logged in readers will be able to post to them.

What does this mean?

If you are not logged in, you won't even see these 3 offtopic forums, and (as always) you won't be able to post in them.

If you always log in when you come to the forums, or are logged in, there will not be any change.

Why make the change?

We do not want the search engines indexing the content of our offtopic forums. By making these available only to logged in users, bots and spiders cannot crawl them and index or cache the content. There are numerous benefits for 4x4Wire, and by extension our entire readership community.

Thank you for your understanding and for the minor inconvenience if you routinely surf the site while not logged in.

Logical step to take and I can see the reason for it.

Works for me!
