I have recently changed out a 60/40 bench for sr5 buckets in my 89 pickup DLX. I am currently searching for a center console and the matching shifter floor cover(with leather boot)in the grey interior color. I have found one out of an 85 pickup and wondering if it would fit my truck? Any insight will be appreciated, or if you have one for sale from my gen of truck I may be interested.

Cheers

If it's in really good condition and you can get a good price on it, I'm pretty sure you could make it work.

I would try and hold out for one at least as new as your truck...the older ones aren't as nice. There's a guy on here who put a new Tacoma console in his 4runner and it looks awesome. Lots of storage and a fold up center piece.

Hey thanks for the info boys!

10-4 on the Taco console, sounds really good, I guess I'll keep looking because the dude wants $40 for the 85 console and shift boot stuff.

About the ammo can,
I was hoping that it would not come to this, I have considered the can but I believe that my truck is ghetto enough for now. I mean I have no carpet, sterio wires all over, water leaks in from the drainage channel below the wipers, Plus I can see the ground through my stick shifter. Now that I think of it the can might do just fine!

How does the ammo can fit on the tunnel?? Is it too high? does it mount flush to the floor? can I get it stocked with ammo and mabye a 50cal for the passenger to play with? More info on the can might change my mind on my whole center console crisis. Boys my right arm needs somewhere to rest while I hold my
