You might want to know what your diff temps are on a regular basis.

I know if my diff runs 210 in the interstate @ 70 with no load, and 240 towing a 2000 lb trailer, that if I am crusing down the highway at 60 mph after a trail run, and its running at 300, then something is wrong. Maybe water, maybe the seal blew out, and I dont have any oil in it.

Frame temp sensor.... well thats excessive, but you get the point. If you had a multi posisition switch, and a good guage, then you could wire, and run a sensor anywhere you pleased.

You know what sparky.... You shoudl start cutting the sensor leads off of all the Gen 2 trucks, and placing them all around your truck switched, so you can see what the various temps are. Underhood ambient, coolant temp, oil pan temp, tranny fluid temp. Stuff like that!! how kick ass would that be!

Have you guys seen the Top Gear show featuring the Koenigsegg pretty funny.

Talking of interesting cars here's a sound bite for you. It's a 1953 BRM 1.5 litre (that's right) V16 (yes 16 cylinders!) supercharged. 500hp out of a 1.5litre engine in 1953 is quite amazing. This sound was recorded quite recently and the car is owned by Nick Mason. The sound is almost mystical

'97 Montero 'LSR' - 4.6 gears & factory rear locker, 33" Procomp muds on 15x8 steelies, 50mm coil spacers, T-bar crank, Airlift, sans rear sway, 50mm rear frame & fuel tank lift, Aisins, ARB front bumper + 10k lb winch, 50mm DIY body lift, rock sliders, cut rear quarter panels...

I saw the Koenigsegg on top gear. Those doors are awesome.

I just want to tell you both good luck, and we're all counting on you.

A mind fart. The 29 Merc was an sskl..

In 1949 there was a Porsche-Cisitalia 1.5liter v12 NA motor making 400+bhp on exotic fuels, alcohol/nitrometane stuff.

I like the cobras a lot, but there's something to be said for the Sunbeam Tiger/Alpine with the 260/289/302 for a little more stealth. We forgot the Pant-pant-pant-(overheated)-Pantera's....

My room mate JUST got his Honda Oddessy running. 250 2 stroke on a mini dunebuggy with a CVT comet style clutch. Its pretty retarted fast. Piston the size of a Small Block Chevy!! haha almost. That gocart will ALMOST pull the front wheels off the ground.

My son was playing with one of his new matchbox cars and it reminded me of another unattainable car with a tiny motor and lots of power...the wickedly fast Group (Killer) B Ford RS200

After only one full year of...E2 that produced over 650 bhp.

I've read/heard that in rally trim some of these cars have seen over 2 BAR!

You want a bad looking GroupB, look at a Lancia Stratos.

I was also fond of BRM H16 engines - two flat 8's with the cranks geared together, ginned up when they went from 1.5 to 3.0l in F1. Talk about Rube Goldberg. IIRC, the Cosworth v8's ate it up....
