I would like to know if its just me or are the KYB Part #s for the longer shocks for the gen1s not right for the rear? The metal sleeve in the rear shocks does not fit over the rear shock mount. Fronts went in fine. What am I doing wrong? Or is the bushing from the old shock frozen on the lower mount? This is on a 4cyl truck with rear leaf springs. I'm half tempted to get some new shock mounts and have them welded on. Help please guys. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/evil.gif" alt="" />

I am planning on building the Raider up slowly this being the start. Waiting on parts to be shipped. Already have the OBA in progress.

I think the longer shocks numbers are for the v6. The 4 and the 6 have different lower mounts, I think.

I just want to tell you both good luck, and we're all counting on you.

I am not 100% on that, I think. I can get a pic of v6 for you tomorrow. The v6 mounts come off of the axle tube, we only got coil sprung v6s.

The ones listed on the parts list. KG6402s I belive thats the front not 100% on part numbers right now. I may be able to press out the metal sleeve and slide it over the mount its pretty close in size as the sleeve bushing on the shock.

Also the front shocks should remain the stock size since you don't actually need longer ones with a torsion bar lift.

I am noticing the front right corner of my Raider is leaning. I was hoping that I could upgrade the shocks eliminate that. But you can specify that you want longer ones for the rear?
