Tail pipe is black. Choke isnt the issue. Any adjustments on these carbs I can make? Any suggestions??

I just bought an 84 4Runner that is also running rich, so today i started digging into it to figure out what was wrong, and i found that the aux accelerator pump (AAP) is leaking fuel into the vacuum lines, so time for a rebuild. check for this problem on your truck.

Wow! Too many wires and vacuum hoses on this thing, way over my head. Time to find a carb with 1 vacuum hose on it, and no wires.

scerbs carb facts will fix you right up .the only vac you absolutly have to have goes to the distributor.these carbs arent too bad if you take your time .I used to waste a lot of fuel running rich ,my oil smelled like gas too.
