ok so i frequent a montecarlo website and since i sold my camaro for a monte ss i got into the technical forums. some of those guys are looking for a better body bushing to stiffen the car up. since most f-body guys use aluminum myself included i suggested that. i got some wierd ansewers about that and something to do with the metal of the body and frame. anyway someone said what about delrin. i remeber buying a set of bushings from damn i forget the site but a 2" lift for my sportage. im sure some of you guys have them and im wondering after some offroad abuse how are they still holding up. ill find the site that makes them and if they hold i can get a group buy for monte body bushings.
eventually ill make a post about the monte. it will be stock for a bit till i get my shoulder fixed. after that im going to sculpt it into a nascar replica complete with 358 engine and 4speed manual trans. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/patriot.gif" alt="" />

If they are suggesting Delrin, suggest UHMWPE (ultra high molecular weight polyethylene). It is what the body lifts your thinking of are made of. It can withstand as much or more abuse as Delrin and is less expensive. PM me if you have any questions.
